COMPOSER
In 2020, I started my education at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the Composition Faculty. With a growing love for the art of film music composers and classical music, my area of activities shifted from guitar playing to strict composing for ensembles, arranging, and orchestrating.
MUSICAL INFLUENCES
Film composers who really influenced me throughout those years are John Williams, Danny Elfman, Miklós Rózsa, Elmer Bernstein, Howard Shore, Bernard Hermann, Leonard Bernstein, John Barry, Ennio Morricone, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Goldsmith, and Maurice Jarre. Also, classical composers who went big or delicate in their compositions and orchestrations, like Stravinsky, Bartok, Mahler, Holst, Wagner, Prokofiev, R. Strauss, Respighi, and Debussy, have had a powerful impact on my musical development.
COMPOSITIONS & COMPOSITIONAL APPROACH
In my compositions I try to combine pure film music action with romantic harmony. It is somewhere between late romantic music, the 1950s Hollywood style, and epic scoring but with a more modern touch, often emphasizing exotic harmony, impressionistic textures, and the use of percussion instruments. But after all, it is all about depicting visions and honoring the legacy of the masters of the craft with their own unique taste.

I use MuseScore for music notation, Impact GX 49 MIDI controller by Nectar, and record in AbletonLive10Suite or Cubase 12.

W 2020 roku zacząłem studiować na Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu na wydziale Kompozycji. Równolegle z rosnącą miłością do muzyki filmowej i klasycznej, obszar mojej działalności przeniósł się z wykonawstwa do czystego procesu twórczego.
INSPIRACJE
Kompozytorzy muzyki filmowej, którzy mieli wielki wpływ na mój rozwój, to m. in. John Williams, Danny Elfmann, Miklós Rózsa, Elmer Bernstein, Howard Shore, Bernard Hermann, Leonard Bernstein, John Barry, Ennio Morricone, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Goldsmith oraz Maurice Jarre. Również kompozytorzy klasyczni, tacy jak Stravinsky, Ravel, Mahler, Holst, Wagner, Prokofjew, Respighi, R. Strauss, Dukas, Messiaen czy Debussy, mają na co dzień decydujący wpływ na rozwój mojego stylu rozumienia muzyki.
MOJE PODEJŚCIE DO KOMPONOWANIA
W moich kompozycjach staram się łączyć wpływy muzyki filmowej z romantyczną harmonią. Pozwala mi to znaleźć się gdzieś pomiędzy muzyką późnego romantyzmu i post-romantyzmu, klasycznym stylem Hollywood lat 50. a nowoczesnymi epickimi produkcjami. Często ubarwiam kompozycje egzotyczną harmonią, impresjonistyczną fakturą i podkreśleniem roli instrumentów perkusyjnych. Ponad tym znajduje się jednak ostateczny cel, jakim jest odzwierciedlanie obrazów i wizji w muzyce oraz uhonorowanie spuścizny wielkich mistrzów własnym niepowtarzalnym smakiem.

Do notacji używam programu MuseScore, a nagrywam w Ableton Live 10 Suite lub Cubase 12 przy pomocy kontrolera MIDI Impact GX 49.
