COMPOSER
In 2020, I started my education at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the Composition Faculty. With a growing love for the art of film music composers and classical music, my area of activities shifted from guitar playing to strict composing for ensembles, arranging, and orchestrating.
MUSICAL INFLUENCES
Film composers who really influenced me throughout those years are John Williams, Danny Elfman, Miklós Rózsa, Elmer Bernstein, Howard Shore, Bernard Hermann, Leonard Bernstein, John Barry, Ennio Morricone, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Goldsmith, and Maurice Jarre. Also, classical composers who went big or delicate in their compositions and orchestrations, like Stravinsky, Bartok, Mahler, Holst, Wagner, Prokofiev, R. Strauss, Respighi, and Debussy, have had a powerful impact on my musical development.
COMPOSITIONS & COMPOSITIONAL APPROACH
In my compositions I try to combine pure film music action with romantic harmony. It is somewhere between late romantic music, the 1950s Hollywood style, and epic scoring but with a more modern touch, often emphasizing exotic harmony, impressionistic textures, and the use of percussion instruments. But after all, it is all about depicting visions and honoring the legacy of the masters of the craft with their own unique taste.
BASIC GEAR
I use MuseScore for music notation, Impact GX 49 MIDI controller by Nectar, and record in Ableton Live 10 Suite or Cubase 12.
GUITARIST
I have been playing the guitar since 2013, as well as bass guitar, drums, and piano for a few years. I am a great music enthusiast who loves neoclassical music, power metal, and shred virtuoso music. I am particularly fond of the 1980s guitarist from Shrapnel Records.
MUSICAL INFLUENCES
My music is influenced mostly by the art of George Bellas and Luca Turilli (with all his Rhapsody projects), by late 80s Shrapnel Records Era virtuosos such as Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine, and Richie Kotzen, and by new musicians like Rick Graham, Jacky Vincent, and Jason Richardson.
In addition to musical inspirations, things that really push me forward in the process of composing are religions, beliefs, wonders of nature, and unanswered questions of existence, but the most important aspect of life is the epic aspect.
COMPOSITIONS
The main goal behind my creation process (regarding Concepts of Visualization material) is to mix those ingredients mentioned above and create a particular sense of feeling illustrated by music. I use tools typical to different kinds of music and fill my tracks with them. I would not say that they are similar or very different, but every single one is unique in its climax and sense. I try to mix different modern complex harmonical and rhythmical patterns with an 80s approach to guitar solo art.
BASIC GEAR
I play Yamaha Pacifica 120H, with Ernie Ball Strings and Dunlop Jazz III picks. I also use MuseScore for music notation, Impact GX 49 midi controller by Nectar, and record in Ableton Live 10 Suite.
